Pambele Lodge
"African
extravagance"
Pambele Lodge is an exclusive retreat nestled on the point of the beautiful and remote San Sebastian Peninsula
near Vilanculos. The resort is set within 36,000 ha of private land in the Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary.
This is an exquisite private home that blends inconspicuously with its surroundings.
Ten adults and four children can be accommodated in four generously proportioned villas. Each villa is individually designed with lounge areas and large open terraces that look out over ever-changing views.
King-sized beds are swathed in muslin and outdoor showers are wonderfully romantic. Each villa is fitted with air-conditioning, ceiling fans and mosquito nets.
Pambele is on the southern border of the Bazaruto Archipelago Marine National Park, renowned for its exquisite coral reefs and pristine tropical islands. Scuba diving can be arranged and
the ocean going
catamaran is perfect for island hopping expeditions. Big game fishing is a very popular local sport and whale watching is possible from July through to November.
There is a whale breeding ground just 30 minutes from Pambele by boat.
